Boyd Kynard

As of 2015, Boyd is a 76 year old Kynard from a north Mississippi set of Kynards. He left Mississippi in 1967 to study fish behavior at the Univ. of Washington in Seattle. Boyd is a fish behavioral scientist (specialty, migratory fish and sturgeon), a University Prof, and an ex-federal scientist of the Dept. of Interior. He and his son, Brian, conduct scientific research on fish at their business, BK Riverfish,LLC. For the past 20 years, Boyd has worked with fish scientists in Brazil, China, and Romania on behavior of migratory fish in their large rivers (Yangtze R., Danube R., and Amazon R.).
